Given the Belfast Telegraph`s fetish for attempted mind control opinion polls it is surprising they have not conducted one on the presently elusive Iris Lundy or is it Iris Lundy Collins. Now the elections are over the "Sugar-granny affair" seems to be media fairgame.
Quite a bit of further information has surfaced since the original Spotlight programme, especially Peter`s classic interview with Seamus McKee, which might cause the public to wonder just what sort of life Iris may have had under the headship of Peter Lundy ex MP for East Belfast.
One possible outline for a poll maybe;
1. Do you have any sympathy for Iris?
2. Do you wish to reserve judgement until more facts are known?
3. Do you have no sympathy for Iris?
4. Do you think Iris will become the fall girl for everyone else in this sordid affair?
5. Do you think Iris is genuinely "Mentally ill?" or is it a ploy to escape questioning?
6. Have you personally bought a piece of land for a fiver any time in your life ?
According to various reports the police investigation has now moved on to another stage. When will Iris be questioned is the big question? Will she spill the beans is the even bigger question ??????
