FINANCIAL REALISM.

Finance and an arts sector are highlighted by this BBC report. It is good to see this particular arts sector raise its own finance and patronge support. Nelson McLundy should cease all funding for the arts, they do not need it.

It is also a much more better deal for "arty types" who feel they are clever enough to use theatre to highlight social injustices or particular topics which need highlighting. If they are independent of government grants they cannot be blackmailed by government threats of withholding finance should they happen to touch on an theatrical topic which the government frowns upon.

I am sure a theatre production portraying the issue of COLLUSION would be a big box office draw in N.Ireland. If they make theatre relevant to ordinary people surely they will have no trouble profitably filling the seats.

In the early 1980s I saw Al Pacino in a performance titled "American Buffalo," it was staged in this theatre in New York. How can this little theatre manage to survive all these years? Do you think they get any "government subsidies?" they probably have to pay protection money to the Mafia into the bargin! It is a big surprise the American Mafia have never cottoned on to the "Peace-Process hoax" they could make Billions.

One guy did try something similar but it blew up in his face. He tried to carry out the hoax before it had been properly researched and refined. If he were alive today he could probably manipulate a situation were Nobel peace prize winners would rally to his side.

The thug above did not properly understand the subtlies of the situation, he only understood the "overt greed and violence" school of thought rather than the "covert greed and violence" school of thought.

No honour among thieves is there? especially "politically motivated" ones.

Matthew 6:19-21
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
