MORE INCONVENIENT TRUTHS.

Lately their has been a permanent memorial to commemorate the murder of three Scottish soldiers. This brutal episode caused great consternation in N.Ireland when it happened. Fortunately most of those involved in the murders are now dead, though they were never brought to justice by successive spineless Vatican controlled "British" governments.

This song was very popular at the time, while it is right and good to remember these sad deaths, it also illustrates a very dangerous sentimental notion of God, life and death. If you listen to the song it leaves you with the impression murder victims go to heaven, this is not so! Only those who are born again go to heaven and the only people who can be born again are sinners!

John 3:2-4
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 2:7-9
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Here is another famous song about Scottish soldiers.
