Newtownards Rd Memorial.

Two articles examine incidents which happened in 1970, both highlight how IRA/MI5 have been more capable at playing the propaganda game than their Unionist opponents.


An OO parade is scheduled for Friday 25th June which is intended to highlight this case. Further details can be found on this site.

The particular day in question was a day of widespread violence directed against Protestant areas in various parts of the city. Protestants were attacked on the Springfield Rd and three Protestants were murdered when IRA/MI5 attacked the Disraeli st area just of the Crumlin Rd.

When you read this article you cannot help thinking the author is pushing his own agenda when attempting to promote the idea of "a panel of experts and historians."

"This is not a good return for society as a whole. There is a need for more resources to be given to the HET. We need a panel of historians and other experts, including victims representatives, to review the reports and data. Then they can be drawn together into as full an account of our troubles history as is possible within the lifetime of those affected."

Revelation 18:1-6
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
