MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES, SUPER INJUNCTIONS AND AN MP

The MP Zach Goldsmith.

This story combines three of the issues which are occurring continually in the UK news.  First we have an MP. Not just any MP but one who has publicly admitted he obtained a Super Injunction.  The article then goes on to touch upon the issue of mental health which incidently is a big issue in N.Ireland.

Having read quite a few articles about mental health I am always left with the impression the person speaking or writing upon the topic does not really know much about the subject.  I will explain why.

People with mental health problems not only have to deal with this aspect of the illness, they also have to learn how to cope with the SIDE EFFECTS of the medication which medical practioners advise they take.

Earlier tonight a friend told me about this book, I had never heard of it before. It may or may not be worth reading, you need to decide for yourself.

This is the author of the book giving an interview on USA tv.  As I have said before, you have to decide for yourself whether he is talking nonsense or not.

Here is another interview.

Here is another matter which is causing distress to many people of  which there seems to be little knowledge.  It has to do with a noise which some people can hear but others cannot.

Notice how David knew how to go about acting as if he had a "mental illness."  Obviously he must have observed individuals having this condition, otherwise he would not have been able to do it.

1 Samuel 21:12-14
12And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore afraid of Achish the king of Gath.
13And he changed his behaviour before them, and feigned himself mad in their hands, and scrabbled on the doors of the gate, and let his spittle fall down upon his beard.
14Then said Achish unto his servants, Lo, ye see the man is mad: wherefore then have ye brought him to me?
