Matt 11:7 ¶ And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.
The Lord Jesus Christ`s description of what in modern days is described as a "wimp," is strikingly true in Peter Lundy`s case. It only took a gentle breeze to blow from the environs of the Vatican controlled Belfast Telegraph and BBC and Peter soon grovelled.
Whatever "personal problems" Peter is having is evidently affecting his judgement. In his statement on the Lundy party site, he uncharacteristicly admits
"Mr Robinson was one of those who had been at the forefront of initiating contact between the DUP and the Roman Catholic Church"
Given the plethora of crimes linked to the RCC in recent days, never mind over the last 1600 years, this "initiating contact" is nothing to boast about.
It was always assumed Gullible Gregory Lundy had been to the forefront in groveling to the "RCC," however it has now become clear Peter was pulling the strings and was willing to let Gullible Gregory take the public flak.
It is ironic that PopeLundy1 and Peter, both so-called great defenders of Unionism and Protestantism have now ignominiously ended their careers as nothing better than "Vatican doormats."
It is anyones guess what the true extent of sinister "Vatican penetration" within "Unionist and Protestant" culture in N.Ireland actually is. I am sure there are a few "bleeding hearts" in the TUV who think it would be a good idea to extend condolences to the ex Babylonian "Cardinal."
A 2010 calender and contact leaflet from Nigel Lundy came through my door a little while ago, I gave it to my dog to play with, he will tear it to pieces.
Perhaps Peter could confirm or deny the widespread speculation that Iris is currently residing in Florida? Afterall if you are going to be depressed why not be depressed in sunny Florida rather than cold, wintery Belfast?

Along with other prominent DUP members / FPC false ecumenists I might add:

Paisley meets Catholic primate
Owen Bowcott, Ireland correspondent
The Guardian,
Tuesday 10 October 2006
After a lifetime spent denouncing the Catholic church and routinely describing the Pope as the "Antichrist", Ian Paisley yesterday held "cordial" private talks with the Archbishop of Armagh. The meeting, at the Democratic Unionist party's offices in the Stormont assembly building, marks a significant milestone in the cautious process of normalising inter-community relations in Northern Ireland.
It also signals the countdown to intensive political discussions due to start in St Andrews tomorrow, aimed at restoring a devolved, power-sharing government to the province.
Both Tony Blair and Bertie Ahern, the Irish prime minister, will be at the three-day summit.
For decades Mr Paisley has launched tirades against the "Romish" church. There have been signs, however, of the DUP softening its line recently.
The meeting with Sean Brady, Catholic Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of all Ireland, lasted an hour and a half. They shook hands - but not in sight of the cameras - and had scones and tea. The DUP delegation included three other MPs, Peter Robinson, Nigel Dodds and Gregory Campbell. The talks were described by a party spokesman as "cordial". Further talks are planned.
Archbishop Brady said: "We discussed the benefits that would derive to all parts of the community from a stable and devolved administration."

Mrs. O'Leary
mrs;
Prior to the meeting described in this newspaper article, there had been an exchange of letters from Gregory Lundy (Campbell) to Babylonian representatives.
At the time it looked as if Gregory was leading the way with this initiative but it now seems as if Peter pulled the strings in private.
Check out this link, Campbell looks very stupid now given all the scandal which has been revealed about Babylonianism in Ireland since this exchange of letters took place.
