The long suffering public of N.Ireland must deserve some recognition of their patience and understanding during the latest long running "political debacle."
The least the BBC could do is produce a very special "Give My Head Peace" one off special limited edition based on the current lunacy. New characters could be added to the show giving a much needed boost to currently unemployed "actors." I am sure many would jump at the opportunity to play "Selwyn White" the Svengali par excellence, then there is Selwyn`s wife, possibly part of a very dysfunctional family.
They could probably get the spooky John Malkovitch to play Iris`s "very lovely Psychiatrist friend." or should that be, Iris`s "very lovely Psycho friend."
One thing is for sure, McKeever and Corry are wasting their time doing a very tame "Sweeny Todd," in Newtownabbey when there is a real loony, psycho, hilarious, musical, morality tale to be told on the "big screen."
