THERE IS AN OBVIOUS IMPLICATION INHERENT IN THIS STATEMENT.

Vatican puppet Shaun Woodward cannot contain his gloating arrogance. "He has cleared his name!

The obvious implication is..............if he had not done the deal he would not have cleared his name. There are a number of things Shaun forgets, the deal is not done yet and East Belfast is rampant with stories about, "The Whore, the slut and the nut!"
To save Peter you have to shut Iris up for good, you don`t have the nerve to do that Shaun.

Most importantly of all, Shaun does not understand God has a longer arm than the Vatican has.
