Election hopefuls are wasting no time in getting themselves helpings of publicity. After reading the Guardian interview about Mike Nesbitt and Trevor Ringland. I have come to the conclusion they are too naive to be let out on their own never mind stand for Westminster.

The part of N.Belfast between Duncairn Gardens and Shore Crescent is very unusual. Almost everyone living there is related to everyone else through first hand, second hand or third hand marriages. Most of the people or their parents and grandparentS originate from the old York st. For instance I would be linked to Fred Cobain through interfamily connections. In effect Nigel is "an outsider." Any further scandals should finish off Nigel`s career. Even worse will be his predicament if the TUV emerge with a "celebrity candidate."
