TENS OF THOUSANDS

The following link from the Bel Tel relates to a story in which a GAA official was robbed. The quote below the link is from the article.

"The money is understood to amount to tens of thousands of pounds - the takings from Sunday's GAA Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-final between Derry and Monaghan - that was being transported to the bank."

It goes to emphasise the utter foolishness and moral bankruptcy of politicans who would try to argue the need to fund sports stadium for the IFA,GAA and whatever initials the rugby associaton use. They generate enough money for themselves let them put the hand into their own pockets!

Saw the headlines in the Telegraph while in shop. It tells of the more serious things in life that can come upon any one of us and gives one of the directions where government money is best spent.
