The sorry tune with one cord on one string has gone on from 1998. "Whats the Alternative". An alternative that can be implemented immediately is the instant expulsion of IRA/MI5 from the executive at the insistence of the other parties. Followed by the demand that a full public inquiry must be initiated into collusion between the Republican movement and the British Intelligence systems.

It can start by looking at the role Mr Freddy Scappatticci has played within Republicanism. Why each of his victims were murdered, was it to cover up other higher placed assets?

Is it possible for any individual to ascend to the highest ranks of the IRA without help from the Brit Intell.? Once an individual reaches a high rank, is it possible to stay there for any length of time without help from Brit Intell?

Mr Danny Morrison has a claim in against the courts for wrongful imprisonment. It is expected to be settled out of court as the case would reveal the role of another agent alongside Scappatticci.

The case of Denis Donaldson has not been dealt with fully yet.

No one has been charged with the Enniskillen Bombing. Is it possible those involved in this atrocity were "Republican British agents". The Tebane Massacre which Willie McLundy was threatening to take to the Ombudsman, why has no one ever been charged with that crime?

It would be useful if the media were to replay the reactions by high ranking police officers and politicians at the time of these and other atrocities. "No stone shall be left unturned in the hunt for these vile criminals", "There will be no hiding place for them", "We know who they are it is only a matter of time".

Cliche after cliche. They did not mean one word of it. All the tough talk from the security officials was just uttered to keep the Unionists sedated.

Surely the Brits could not object, what would they have to hide?
Surely the Republicans could not object, it would give them opportunity to show to the Unionists they are sincere and have nothing to hide.
The Unionists could not object as it keeps them in power. Why is it Unionists do not even think in this manner?

The seats that IRA/MI5 have now on the executive can be allocated in an amicable way between the remaining parties.

The question of Republicans participating in government should not even be considered until the enquiry has met with the full saticfaction of the Unionist community.
What is wrong with that alternative ?

There are many former Republican activists such as Brendan Hughes and the Price sisters who would find such an equiry quite ironic to say the least. Brendan Hughes quote regarding his former colleagues "Where did these guys get all the money for their fancy houses? they have not worked for 30 years."

Over the past few days there have been calls from police officers associations calling for an end of all collusion enquiries! Why ? what do they have to hide? Probably it is only a matter of time until the joint First Terrocrats make the same pronouncement, "There should be no more collusion enquiries."
The question is what do they all want to hide?
