The Irish language or Ulster Scots language should be given no government funding. Those who wish to promote their "looney language" programs should fund it from their own pockets. They should follow the example of the Independent Christian Schools who get no government funding and who do not seek government funding. They do not whinge and whine about it either!

Stormont Monastery is the terrorist shrine, "a conflict transformation center" must mean something else. Edwin should know he has been involved in it from the start. AMAIZING DUP STUPIDITY
I know I shouldn't....but I really couldn't let this little story of unionist weak-kneed duplicity and stupidity go by without commenting. This is from the Newsletter today!
DUP MLA Edwin Poots, that well know giant intellect whose reputation for laser-like political insight proceeds him, has played down (Wishful thinking, folks!) fears in the unionist community about plans to create an International Centre for Conflict Transformation at the former Maze Prison site.

Victims' groups have expressed concern that the centre, which would be incorporated into the national sports stadium complex, would become a shrine to republican terrorists.
But the Maze Consultation Panel member said retaining some of the prison buildings had always been inevitable.

"Early in the process, when Jeffrey Donaldson and myself went to see the historic building section of the Environmental Heritage Service, it was made abundantly clear to us that having all of the prison demolished was not going to be a runner and that they were intending to list a substantial part of it. We therefore adopted the attitude that we wanted to limit the amount of buildings that were retained. To that end, the buildings that are being retained represent less than five per cent of the overall site."

Wow - I'd love to negotiate with our Edwin. He accepts defeat BEFORE entering into debate and is solely concerned with limiting the scale of it!

Em, Edwin, has anyone told you that a shrine to republican terrorists does not have to actually occupy, you know, ACRES? Here we have Mr Poots expose the sort of defeatist attitude that totally sickens me.

There is NO way even ONE BRICK of the Maze should be used by republicans as a shrine. No Unionist should concede that, yet Edwin and Jeffrey ENTERED discussions accepting that a section of the Maze would be indeed retained to appease the IRA. So when they're posing outside the new unwanted Stadium, telling us what a great job they have done, just remember that the same gentlemen rolled over like little DUP poodles and ACCEPTED the IRA wish for a shrine at the Maze. In another of Edwin`s dreams, Gerry Adams will come grovelling into his office and insist the Irish language must be funded. "Take yourself off, your getting no funding from my department" Edwin will shout, "your defeated!" POLITICAL PATZER

It is reported by UTV website the Culture, Arts and Leisure minister was at Union station Washington for the launch of the Titanic-built in Belfast exhibition. This is an ominously fitting place for him to be as his political career is possibly going to go the same way as the Titanic, it is going to founder upon the new stadium Maze location iceberg.

Edwin Lundy may have thought himself to be a slick political operator who possessed what seemed to be all the right connections in political and spiritual lundyland. In reality Edwin is just a "patzer" who was given a poisoned chalice which his more cunning political "colleagues" deftly avoided.

Discredited Lundies in his own party give the impression they are clutching at any straw in a bid to portray themslves as resolute defenders of Unionism. The hapless DCAL minister is exactly what they are looking for, someone who can be sacrificed for the sake of politcal expediency in order to make themselves look good. Have been made aware of a letter from Edwin Lundy Cultural minister in today`s Newsletter. Edwin seems to be trying to distance himself from the funding of sodomite activities. Nelson McLundy also had a statement carried by UTV website attacking Gerry the Brit for lack of attendance at Stormont Monastery.

No Unionist politician of any party has Biblical credibilty and therefore cannot issue statments attempting to justify themselves or attacking anyone else and expect Christians to take them seriously.
I do expect the NewDupe Lundy website to adopt the colours Pink White and Blue and at the next election all candidates will be wearing Pink White and Blue rossettes.
