WHAT SHALL IT PROFIT A MAN, IF HE SHALL GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD, MK8:36

One of the greatest tragedies in life is to witness the downfall of a genuine uniquely talented individual. The spiritual truth laid down is paralleled in many lives.
FROM THIS ...... American super-hero; "Dear Bobby, Your convincing victory at Reykjavik is eloquent witness to your complete mastery of the world’s most challenging game. The championship you have won is a great personal triumph for you and I am pleased to join countless of your fellow citizens in extending my heartiest congratulations and best wishes." -- President Richard Nixon (telegram sent to Fischer upon winning the world championship)

TO THIS ....... American super-zero; disowned by his fellow country-men, an embarrassment to himself, no one knows what he is going to do or say next.

WHO ARE THEY ALL LAUGHING AT?

Anyone who is interested in trying to grasp how far Ian Paisley has fallen should listen to the 12 minute National radio debate which took place in Canada 1950. http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=6845

At the moment I am attending Tynedale FPC, although I am not a member. While the FPC is in the main focus of attention at the minute because of the present situation. The spiritual blight that threatens our land is an indictment of us all I feel.
