THE MORNING AFTER "CHILL"

THE LONLINESS OF THE LONG DISTANCE LIAR

McLundy seems to be finding himself stuck out on a limb this morning after his bizarre Newsletter scribblings. None of his political colleagues have publicly agreed with his assessment of the current situation. Even "Republicans" have found his assertions so absurd no one has bothered refute them. Wonder if any of his ministerial associates will come to his defence and preach a mighty victory sermon? According to a report in the Portadown Times a FP minister is allegded to have tried to defend political lundy policy by saying, "McGuinness was never convicted of murder!" .

If this statement is accurate, the big question is WHY WAS HE NEVER CONVICTED OF MURDER?

Had this supposed minister been in the shoes of Nathan the prophet charged with confronting David, he would have declared, "THOU ART NOT THE MAN", it was Joab that dunnit!

2 Samuel 12:6-8
6 And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
8 And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.

Peter is not a man to miss out in declaring, "The IRA, the part I played in their downfall!" Strangely Robinson has turned his attention to civil service absenteeism. No doubt Peter will deal with this aspect of "Ulster culture" with the same ruthlessness as he dealt with his IRA political opponents. Two weeks on the sick per year is now normal practice in every part of business, industry, commerce and civil service in N.Ireland, once Peter finds out this is a vote loser he will turn a blind eye to it.

The last place anyone wants an award from is Westminister, yet Pope Lundy1 seems thrilled with his trinket. Cannot help suspecting a Nobel prize is on its way.
