The strategy of ethnic cleansing has a very, very, long history.  Sometimes the tactics change but the over-riding principle is always the same.

It is usually carried out by very clever people and many times the victims are none the wiser becasuse they have been deliberately miseducated and brainwashed beforehand.
Just like N.Ireland today.
