No doubt you have noticed this blog now displays advertisements. Quite some time ago I received a communication from Google saying they had noticed a large number of visitors accessed this site and I should consider using the advertising facility.
At that time I was very dubious about the matter as I suspected it would be difficult to control which advertisements were shown.
At the present time there is now available various means of disabling inappropriate adverts from dubious sources. Here are three which have been blocked so far. This is an ongoing process, other inappropriate adverts will be added to the list. Just blocked another two after this was first published.

I would appreciate it, if anyone spots a dubious advert that they would let me know about it.
The proceeds generated by the advertising system will be donated to charity, just in case you are wondering.
