Most people think the only historical event which took place in July 1966 was England winning the soccer World Cup, this litle video clip proves otherwise.
Talk about being condemned by your own words, would any person who preached this way, lived this way, and ended their career in this way, ever be elevated to the House of Lords?

I'll watch the clip when I have more time, but perhaps you can shed some light on the words of Ivan Foster which link to the article in the BBC regarding Paisley's "elevation" to the House of Lords, which read as follows:
"Ian Paisley & John Prescott - both of whom in the past excoriated membership of the House of Lords - are among latest recipients of life peerages"
