Paisley to step down as moderator
Despite being aided by the BBC and Belfast Telegraph propaganda machines, Spiritual Lundyism has been brought to a grinding halt. I wonder does anyone know what the word PURGE means?

What is required is church discipline.
Charges should be formally put to Paisley, Poots and McCrea who are all ministers and officers in the FPC.
Those charges should be investigated.
A debate should occur within Presbytery to establish whether sitting in government with unrepentant terrorists is contrary to the word of God and sinful.
A debate should establish whether Paisley as the first minister has sinned in presiding over an office which has defended the judicial review brought by the fpc and christian institute and others.
A debate should establish whether Poots as minister for Culture Arts and Leisure has sinned in presiding over a Department which funds sodomy.
A commission should establish whether the oath for all assemblymen requires sin as it requires the promotion of the socalled "equality agenda".
If the church upholds these things are public sin, then those involved in it should be disciplined.
Discipline under the WCF means admonition, suspension from the Lord's table for a season or excommunication.
Forcing Paisley to stand down is not what is required from a God fearing Presbyterian denomination.
The FPC must deal with this issue properly. They like to talk of the significance of the Davey trial in the history of the PCI becoming an apostate denomination. Yet if they fail to exercise biblical discipline and true presbyterian government, this will end in outright apostasy for them too.
The recent history of the free Kirk in Scotland tells the very same story.
Proper Church Discipline remains one of the marks of the true Church.
The FPC is at a crossraods and she must choose carefully.
What is firstly required here is for you to declare your true identity.
Contrary to the view portrayed by the media that all Free Presbyterians are uneducated oafs, it is now evident there remain many who are wise enough to have taken on board the points you make.
It has been a very traumatic time for FP`s having to face up to a situation none of them ever dreamed would arise. I am sure if you identify yourself to them they will be vey glad to avail themselves of your obvious wisdom.

I am not a member of the fpc, but wish her well.
The media's portrayal of FPs is of no interest to me, although you are the one that uses the term "sheeple" from time to time.
The FPC is like the rest of the visible church. It is subject to mixture, and is attended and governed by redeemed but imperfect sinners.
As I am not a member of your denomination I do not believe that your leadership would pay any attention to my comments. They would simply be dismissed. Besides, who cares what a wife and mother thinks?
I realise this has been a difficult time for the FPC. I just feel that those who are loyal and true to God's word have seen fighting the wrong battle in seeking to get Paisley to vacate the Moderator's chair.
For one thing a Moderator is not Pope, but really a chairman of business.
For another thing, Paisley will still remain as a Minister of the gospel whilst the serious allegations made of Public sin have not been investigated and either cleared or dealt with.
Yours remains aone of the few blogs who have not deleted all explicit or implicit criticism of your Moderator. It appears that many want this issue to be closed without anything further. I can understand this, but I do not think that either separation of the perceived DUP FPC link or making the first minister staand down as moderator solves or gives closure to any of the issues so ably raised by many in recent weeks and months.
I will be watching developments with Jim Allister and I hope that if a new party emerges that it will be constitutionally a Christian Party, and not just a political party with Christians in it, otherwise we will all end up disappointed again, just as we have been with the DUP.

TONIGHT IT WAS LEARNED THAT DURING THE PRESBYTERY MEETING TO REPLACE DR.IAN PAISLEY THAT THE "BIG MAN "TURNED THE TABLES ON THE EFFORT TO UN SEAT HIM.
THE GENERAL PAISLEY "DECLARED "MARTIAL LAW"FOR THE ENTIRE FPC AND THE DUP ALL THE PEOPLES ASSOCIATED WITH EITHER THE CHURCH OR THE DUP WERE "SHUT DOWN "....FREE SPEECH WAS REMOVED FROM ALL NEWS WEBLOGS ,THEY WERE ALL SHUT DOWN AND CLOSED ALL PAST STORIES OF THE PROBLEMS THAT WERE PLAGUING THE GENERAL WERE REMOVED.
THE PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE AT FRIDAYS MEETING WERE TOLD TO "SHUT UP" SPEAK NO MORE OF SUCH THINGS .THEY WERE TOLD TO PUT A SMILE ON THEIR FACE AND LOOK HAPPY AS THEY LEAVE TO LAUGH BE LIGHT

WE HAVE ALSO LEARNED AND WE HAVE IT ON GOOD SPECULATION THAT THE "NEW CRISIS "THAT HE WILL CREATE AT THE END OF HIS LAST 90 DAYS WILL BE ONE OF CASH OR A SHORTAGE OF SAME HE WILL STATE THAT THE CHURCH BECAUSE OF LESS ATTENDANCE =MORE EMPTY SEATS=LESS ON THE OFFERING PLATE =INCOME IS DOWN BY ALMOST 43% AND A CHURCH BUILDING AND PASTORS HOUSE REQUIRES A FULL 100% TO OPERATE . HE WILL TELL THE PRESBYTERY AT THAT MEETING IN 90 DAYS THAT THIS IS NOW A CRISIS AND ONLY HE THE GENERAL HAS THE SOLUTION SO IT IS FOR THIS REASON THAT I WILL STAY IN OFFICE FOR ANOTHER TERM THE LENGTH OF WHICH I WILL DECIDE.
HE WAS ALSO OVERHEARD SAYING TO A CLOSE FRIEND THAT ANYONE WHO GIVES HIM TROUBLE HE WILL CLOSE THEIR BUILDING FIRST.THAT SHOULD CONTAIN THE TROUBLE MAKERS THEY WILL HAVE NO INCOME ,NO JOB
NO HEALTH INS ,NO PENSION SO THERE HE WAS OVERHEARD SAYING.
