This is what the German news is really reporting.
Angela the Antichrist handmaid delights in betraying the German people and publicly insulting Protestants worldwide.  The Antichrist is travelling to Erfurt to re-emphasise the success of the counter reformation.

As well as visiting Berlin, the Pope will also travel to Erfurt - birthplace of the Lutheran Reformation 500 years ago this year – where he will join Protestant ministers for a joint-prayer service.

Just like the great mass of the UK population, the German population is too far gone to know any difference.  They have well and truly been sent "Great Delusion."

It is amusing to think Merkl is the daughter of a so-called "Lutheran pastor." 

 2 Thessalonians 2

¹³ But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
