Do you think it is us they are laughing at in this picture? Staring out of the front page of today`s Irish News is the elusive Iris Lundy. While most people in the UK are facing some sort of financial hardship Iris has been awarded a whopping pension worth £840,000. Illness is accepted as her reason for quitting!
How does she get away with it?
Ezekiel 16:37-39
37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

What a happy ending to the "Iris Affair" . . for such are the spoils of high office.
It really is beyond me how these self-professed Christians can live with themselves, and with such callous indifference to the economic hardship of the people they are supposed to represent, can indulge themselves in such gross excesses!

Perhaps Iris is suffering from "over-exposure" and the media feels the public are fed up hearing about her. lol
The latest about Iris was carried in the Irish News and I think a small story in the Belfast Lundyletter.
It is highly unlikely the world has heard the last of Iris. She is inevitably going to have to speak to some media source at some time.
At the moment the news is dominated by the news of rioting and shooting last night.
At the moment there are reports of current trouble starting in Blefast.
