Local newspapers have been trying to makes news out of government papers being revealed after the "30" deadline. The Newsletter gave prominent coverage to the story, "INFORMERS BEHIND THE WIRE." The whole situation has become ludicrous, you have to ask yourself, "are there any IRA men who were not informers?"30 years from now in 2038 they will run the story with a slightly different slant. "INFORMERS BEHIND THE WIRE AND ON THE WHOLE ARMY COUNCIL."
Of course by then Marty and Gerry will have been given their knighthoods and retired to some remote location in the south of England. A few more stooges will have been sacrificed in the meantime to save the blushes of Sir Marty and Sir Gerry.
It is strange "leading republicans" no longer make a big issue of "collusion", they do play lip service to the issue now and again to keep the rank and file deluded, but it is the last thing they want examined in detail.
The whole story shows how shallow the Newsletter is as it is commonly known "backchannels" existed between IRA/MI5 and the British government all along. Local newspapers could do us all a big favour and examine when, how and why those particular "backchannels" became "backchannels" in the first place? Just ask yourself this question, "is one of the prerequisites to becoming an IRA/MI5 "backchannel" membership of a Babylonian "secret society"?
If something that warrants a 30 year secrecy rules placed upon it can turn it into a frontpage sensation, then the "DUNBLANE MASSACRE" must be really explosive, it has a 100 year secrecy rule upon it, yet MSM seem little interested in the case!
