It is the commencement of a new year but Peter Punt still clings to the golden oldies of yesteryear. The same old song, "Lets scare the gullible prods."
He is still sticking to his tried and tested method of lying as well. Remember it was not so long ago he and his henchmen were declaring they had made no deal with the Labour government, they had voted for detention laws on principle! The same old strategy, "Why tell the truth when a lie will do."
Not so long ago there was a certain political leader who declared very publicly and forcefully he would serve his full 4 years in the "leadership" office which he had conned his way into. Will it be The same old story for Peter? "From Dr No to Dr Nobody."
Dr. Nobody had to go because he became a public embarrassment and an electoral liability, will Peter go the same way this year.
