An "ordinary" taxi-No Way!
Picture this - The Assembly speaker attends a funeral of a relative of a party colleague in Londonderry. As this is deemed an official task a car is despatched from Belfast to his home in Londonderry, takes the speaker on an eight mile round trip and then returns to Belfast. Cost? £197.79 of taxpayer`s money. Now wouldn`t it make more sense to have called a cab in Londonderry and paid twenty quid maximum? Sounds a bit like Two Jags all over again.
The Mirror also contains a very funny picture of the Crusader FC wall mural at St. Vincent st. It is sponsored by "The Kneebreakers CSC."
