BBC website carries a clip from a committee hearing at Stormont today. When asked about his relationship with Marty, Pope Lundy1 replies, "No change, still the same, not an inch, no surrender." At which stage everyone in attendance seemed to find the whole thing hugely funny!
It is to bad he cannot see they are all laughing AT HIM not with him. Judging by what is shown, it is quite conceivable the whole thing was stage mangaged and he was prompted by "Tumbledown Dick" exactly what to say.
Pope Lundy1 has become such an embarassment to Christianity in N.Ireland it is incredible any Christian would want to be seen with him, never mind try to defend his current political stance.
