Quite unexpectedly the whole of N.European travel has been brought to a standstill. It is a sobering reflection that man can only go successfully about his business if God wills it so.
Years ago people used the phrase "God Willing" as part of common speech, the Volcano turmoil over the last few days illustrates why people used to have a God consciousness which has largely disappeared from society.
Deut 4:11 And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

Judges 5:5 The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
Psalm 97:5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
Psalm 104:32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
Psalm 144:5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
Isaiah 34:8 For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
Isaiah64:1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
2 As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
3 When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
