"Don't tell me what your priorities are. Show me where you spend your money and I'll tell you what they are.” Is a quote by James W Frick.
It exemplifies two news stories which have appeared in the local MSM over the last few weeks, it also illustrates the evil thinking which permeates political life in N.Ireland.
One story which got quite a bit of coverage was the one about flag flying at Stormont. This was merely a stunt which helps both sets of political scaremongers to get the sheeple worked up. There was no need to have a debate on flags, it is a waste of time.
However, now the political conmen have discovered a new ploy to frighten their prospective voters. "If you don`t come out and vote they will fly the tricolour at Stormont, as well as getting Deputy JOINT First Minister post."
The latest news story reveals the granting of a large sum of money to a collection of halfwits!
Obviously you can tell from these news stories the priorities are all wrong.
For instance why did they not find time to debate/discuss this topic instead of the flying of flags?
Now we have another story on the same topic.
Instead they would rather give it to those who have failed in the past to provide "infrastructure and confidence building etc" to the "Protestant" community?
A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
