Strange goings on. There seem to be individuals, such as Dr.Lundy and those inviting him, who are detemined to provoke an unseemly incident at the annual Diamond Rally Gospel service. The protestors are not protesting because the Gospel is being preached, they are protesting because the "preacher" is unfit to preach the Gospel!
Deliberate provocation leads to protest.
I am at a loss to understand why Dr. Lundy wants to return to this venue after it was made clear to him last year he was unwelcome. I am at a greater loss to understand why those who are organising this event decided to invite him. They could have invited any number of preachers who could have proclaimed the Gospel without provoking this unecessary controversy.
Dr Lundy has been in the news for other reasons these last few days. Would any genuine Bible believer ever be asked to write a weekly column for an MSM propaganda outlet? The Newsletter have given Dr Lundy space to air his modern day nonsense.
He could start the first week by revealing all the dirty tricks that were used to try and stop all opposition to his plan for apostacy within the PP presbytery. A roll call of all the ministers to whom he urged to go on "paid holiday" whenever crucial presbytery meetings were going to take place would be most amusing. Dr. Lundy was willing to pay for the "holidays" from his own pocket, so desperate was he to get the right vote in the presbytery meetings.
1 ¶ A Psalm of David.
The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.3
¶ Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 ¶ Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.
Selah.
