GOOD AND EVIL

God is saying; Romans 13: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Hugh Orde is saying; Omagh conviction 'unlikely'
It would be a useful exercise for MSM to replay all the condemnations and pledges to catch the perpetrators by security heads and politicians in the aftermath of Omagh and other bombings. Hugh Orde is making it his business to distance himself from this sorry plight by shifting the blame to his predecessor.

The two leading Terrocrats are saying; NOTHING!
They cannot can they? One is an expert in orchestrating mass-murder, the other is now his apologist. To make a greater mockery of the Bible, the apologist is presently a minister in the PPC along with a collection of other spiritual lundies.

One of the biggest problems trying to convict terrorists is the very unpleasant fact many terrorists have important government connections. The security chiefs always claim to have plenty of intelligence information, no wonder! a high percentage of the murderers are government sponsored. For over 30 years in N.Ireland life has been held as very cheap by the powers that be. In the New Ulster life has become even cheaper.

Have a look at the news video about this supposed "right wing" Knight of Malta politician`s alleged connections with terrorists and other sundry meances to world peace. Rudy Giuliane`s Ties To Terror.
Should people like this be in public life never mind public office?

One of the most perplexing issues Christians face is seeing wicked individuals not only get away with crime but seemingly prosper and gain advantageous positions from their enterprises.
David speaks feelingly upon this subject in Psalm 73.
1Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
2But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
5They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
6Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
7Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
8They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
9They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
10Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
11And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
12Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
13Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
14For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
15If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
16When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
18Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
19How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
20As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
21Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
22So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
23Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
28But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

I commend you on your blog Sam. I am a longtime reader and am especially struck by your candor and wit in assessing the present situation in the FPC and the current N.I. power-sharing alliance in the light of scriptures.

Though the present situation is no laughing matter and indeed is quite intolerable, yet your injection of levity into the mix makes it a little easier to endure.

No reason why the chuckle brothers should be the only ones enjoying a good laugh at the expense of others!

More consoling words from David, the sweet psalmist:

Psalm 37
1Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

3Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
