A STRONG DELUSION.
So many of this type of story is appearing from all parts of the world now it is impossible to keep track of them all. I guess they are now so common they neither shock or surprise anyone.
Journalists would need to start looking at this from a new angle, such as, "Why do supposed educated adults still cling to this sinister, superstitious religion?"
It looks like there is only one reasonable answer, though I doubt if any journalist will look at it from this angle. Millions of Americans believe this will not take place until "after the rapture" lol
The OT.
Isaiah 66:4
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
The NT.
2Thess 2:7-12
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
