A UTV COMEDY CLASSIC "FROM PROTEST TO POWERLESSNESS!"

UTV screened a repeat of a propaganda piece which was used to try and dupe the population of N.Ireland into believing they have a true political settlement. It was originally titled "Paisley-From Protest to Power." It ought to be re-titled "PopeLundy1- From Protest to POWERLESSNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

43.55 "If God is going to close a door!"
The door was SLAMMED rather than closed.

One hilarious moment of screen satire occurs when David McIlundy a Pink Presbyterian preacherette and PopeLundy1 message-boy tries to be very profound and expresses the view, "If God is in this then it will work out........................"

Obviously by his logic it was most certainly not of God as PopeLundy1 was disgraced and out of office within approx one year of the programme being shown.

42.30 "The loosing some members" classic movie clip.

Another moment which will cause side-splitting mirth is when the narrator wryly explains, "In taking the decision to go into government with IRA/MI5 PopeLundy1 will loose some but so far not many members of his party !!!!!!!!!!!!", he was not to know Iris would be one of them, exposed as an adultress, liar, sugar-granny and who knows what is yet to come, definitely not someone who you would want in your political party.

Judging by this documentary, it is not a very good idea for Christians to go around appearing on documentaries if you are engaged in anything of a dubious nature, as your folly can appear all the more greater a few years after the programme is shown. "It seemed like a good idea at the time" is a good way to sum up all of this nonsense.

Matthew 12:35-37
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
