BONFIRE OF QUANGOS

Unelected Quangos are among the biggest cons in the UK. Most of these bodies exist as an "Old Boys and Old Girls" network by which loathsome government/establishment stooges can pick up easy money. The "Independent" Monitoring Commision for example, what a joke, they say what the governments want them to say! Would an honest person ever be selected to serve on this panel?

One major Quango in N.Ireland is the "Parades Commission." This should be immediately done away with and the decisions on parades should be made by the Justice Minister. He should be made to shoulder the responsibility for all parade decisions and their aftermath. Make the carpetbagging rogue earn his wages.
