If it had said, "De Valera was not a British spy!" That would be news!

Anyone who gets to the top of a "terrorist" organisation anywhere in the world is an agent for someone. Anyone who stays at the top of a "terrorist" organisation for a prolonged length of time is a very special agent for someone. He was probably coded A001.
