ONE ELECTION NEEDED; FOR THE SAKE OF CONFIDENCE
Much has been said about the need for "Unionist confidence" to be sufficient before Policing and Justice can be devolved. How can we decide when Unionist opinion has reached the neccessary confidence level? The political judgement of Reg Empey and Peter Punt is so devoid of wisdom it would be political suicide to leave the matter in their incapable hands.
Fortunately society has a reasonably accurate way of measuring the confidence of the electorate at any given time. It is called "ELECTIONS." If the two Lundy parties want to honestly deal with this matter they must bring about fresh Assembly elections. By doing it this way and gaining the electorate`s consent their opponents will not be able to complain.
Alas they have abondoned honest practices a long time ago. It would be a good move for J118 to bring about fresh elections, it would give him the opportunity to officially finish off Peter`s politcal career as well Pope Lundy`s. Hopefully J118`s handlers will give him the nod to bring the house down!
Biblical "Confidence building."
Ps 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Ps 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
