A "self-professed atheist" woman called Dominica McGowan has responded angrily to a statement from TD Lundy jnr. He made the claim the Catholic Church had been terminally damaged by recent reports and Protestant churches now have a vast open field to appeal and preach the gospel.
She replied, "Mr Paisley`s pronouncements clearly showed he knew little about the impact of sexual abuse.
As a pscychotherapist working with survivors of sexual abuse for more than 25 years, I have meet countless survivors who have disclosed their experience of sexual assault by members of his apparently guilt-free Protestant Christian Churches."
I do not think one "Protestant Church" will dare call her out on this revelation, do you? (This story is not online.)
