Let the Bible Speak magazine dated January 2007 contains an article titled "The Imprecatory Psalms" by Ron Johnston. It is worth noting Ron Johnston was on the May 8th invitation list to the pantomime at Stormont Monastery, whether he accepted the invitation or not I cannot tell.

One excerpt from his writing, "When an especially heinous crime is committed, society calls for the authorities to bring the perpetrator to justice and to mete out due punishment. Is David reacting any differently when he prays in Psalm 109:15 that the holy righteous judge would cut off the memory of the wicked from the earth because of their merciless persecution of the poor?
In certain situations, it is proper to appeal to God to punish bloodthirtsty killers who slaughter innocent people."

He sums up the article with these words, "So let us not be embarrassed by these timeless and infallible imprecatory psalms:God gave them to the church as a mighty weapon for times like these!"

I wonder if you become "the Lord`s Anointed" when you are ONLY Deputy-Moderator, or do you have to wait until you become PopeLundy the second? lol
