1. Don`t play football on a Sunday
Zeal is not always an indication of sincerity. Note how Gregory Lundy and other Lundy fanatics are zealously trying to save Ranger FC.
Yet at the same time he is a member of a political party which is clandestinely attempting to destroy FAIR victms group and Willie Frazer.
I can remember a time when traitors like Gregory and his cohorts would never have dared shown their faces anywhere near Ibrox or Windsor Park for the simple reason they would have been kicked to death!
Since Gregory is one of them Pink Presbyterians who claim they believe the Bible he can give Rangers FC two bits of advice.
1. Don`t play football on a Sunday
2. Don`t advertise alcahol on your shirts.
There is something incongruous about Christians trying to save a sporting venture which violates God`s precepts in a haughty fashion.
Still, as Gregory is a Pinkie he is unlikely to be asked to account for his advocacy of sinful behaviour. The Pinkies no longer recognise sin!
You can read this and laugh your head off! It is by Ivan Little, Ivan is a bit of a comedian!!
If you are interested in studying "zealousness" in the Bible, I would recommend you start with a study of Jehu, he seems a rather remarkable and highly dangerous person!
Jehu was very zealous BUT he loved the golden calves!
2 Kings 10:15-17
15And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.
16 And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.
17 And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.
17 And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.
