PROTECTOR OF THE PEOPLE!!

One of MI5`s favourite people has been giving his thoughts on the devolving on policing and justice powers to the N.I. Terrocracy. Unfortuntely the particular individual is Joint First Minister and has gained this position due to the treachery of Pope Lundy1.

"Northern Ireland`s Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness welcomed Mr Woodward`s comments that the devolution of policing and justice powers were a priority.The Sinn Fein MP said there was no doubt there was a lot of work to be done if the deadline set in the St Andrews Agreement for the devolution of the powers by May next year was to be met."I am absolutely convinced that the governments and Shaun Woodward will be very engaged with all of the parties here to ensure that comes about."He said he and First Minister the Rev Ian Paisley were having a first meeting with the new Secretary of State tomorrow at which the subject would be discussed.Speaking at Stormont, he said as the message that the war in Ireland was well and truly over and a stable government in place took hold, it would help the situation."I think once that message gets across it will make easier the whole process of transferring power over policing and justice within the time frame."And he said the terrorist attacks in London and Glasgow added a dimension to the whole debate about transferring the policing and justice powers.Condemning the attacks unreservedly, he added: "That is obviously something we are going to have to be concerned with as well."Under no circumstances are we as an executive going to sit back and not fulfil our responsibility to ensure the protection to the people who elected us."


He should know all about protection as a large number of his colleagues and himself have been the most protected species in theUK for quite some time!
