The recent revelations by Jonathan Powell has sparked of a story that will not go away. For some reason journalists smell blood, this long suspected foray into deceit by one or more lundys will end someones political career. Who would be so arrogant and stupid enough to believe they could do this and it would never be revealed. Was someone, or a number of someones doing a "solo run." Powell has confirmed it was "elected representatives" from IRA/MI5 and the Lundys who were involved.

Things are so bad even Brian Rowan is pretending he had suspicions about the nefarious goings on.

There is a crumb of comfort if the miscreants are Pink Presbyterians, they will not have to worry about being condemned fom the pulpit as being liars and deceivers, nor will they have to worry about Church discipline.

The Queens`s visit also overshadowed the ongoing embarassment for the Lundy party revolving around the question whether or not they had contact with IRA/MI5 via a journalist backchannel. Gregory Lundy wants Powell to name names, hopefully he or someone else will. As things stand at the minute the shadow of suspicion hangs over all of them, as they have all demonstrated adequately over the past few years they are all capable of such deceit.
All are equally suspected but some are more equally suspected than others.

THE DEPUTY leader of the DUP, Peter Robinson, once told the British government that the proposed timetable for the powersharing deal with Sinn Féin was causing such “turmoil” in his party that it “had virtually thrown out Paisley as leader”.
According to Tony Blair’s former chief-of-staff, Jonathan Powell, this moment of high tension came during the St Andrews negotiations in October 2006.
In his book Great Hatred, Little Room, Powell notes that this was something he and Mr Blair “took with a pinch of salt”.

However, reliable British sources have told The Irish Times that the episode confirmed “the singular act of courage” required of the Rev Ian Paisley when he finally agreed to enter into government with Sinn Féin - and Mr Robinson’s crucial role in supporting him while ensuring maximum DUP unity ahead of the historic deal finally concluded in March 2007.

Mr Robinson - who is expected to succeed Dr Paisley as DUP leader in late May or early June - correctly divined the rebellious mood in the DUP on the first day of talks at St Andrews. virtuually ‘through Mr Powell records that at one stage he received a note saying Dr Paisley wanted to see Mr Blair alone: “But it was clearly a misunderstanding because the whole DUP delegation came down and made a terrible fuss; they clearly thought we were trying to split Paisley off from his party and that became a running theme throughout the negotiation.”

When Mr Blair did eventually see Dr Paisley alone, he found the DUP leader in “benign” mood: “He sensed that his community was ready to move and if republicans could do what was needed on policing, his instinct was to come to a deal quickly before things unravelled, and then hold an election in January.”
However, senior DUP sources have separately confirmed Mr Powell’s note that the prospect of an election in January 2007 triggered serious opposition to the DUP leader among those, led by MP Nigel Dodds, arguing for a longer timescale in which to “test” republican commitments.

Mr Powell writes: “He [Paisley] said the only thing that was necessary was for Sinn Féin to hold an ardfheis on policing before the executive was set up - the one thing Adams and McGuinness had now made clear we could not deliver. But when Paisley went back to his party there was serious opposition, particularly from Dodds, to such a short timescale. Robinson told us the DUP were in turmoil and had virtually thrown out Paisley as leader - something we took with a pinch of salt.”

Tensions and divisions within the DUP also appear to have frustrated Sinn Féin’s efforts over the longer term to establish whether Dr Paisley would eventually agree to share power.
Martin McGuinness appeared so confident of his party’s secret “back channel” to the DUP at one point that he thought to stand-down Mr Powell during a key negotiation in 2004.

According to Mr Powell this happened in the autumn of that year following the Leeds Castle talks and before a hoped-for deal fell apart on the issue of a photographic record of IRA decommissioning. However, informed sources have told The Irish Times that republican efforts to satisfy themselves about Dr Paisley’s disposition were complicated by the fact that Sinn Féin was talking to people in the DUP who started off taking a “softer” position than Dr Paisley but ended-up taking a more hardline attitude than their leader.

DUP had secret link to IRA.

"The DUP leader, Ian Paisley, condemned Major for the secret back channel when it was revealed in 1993. But Powell reveals in his memoirs that 10 years later the DUP established its own secret channel to Sinn Féin when Paisley's party won the elections to the Northern Ireland assembly of 2003. The channel was kept secret because the DUP refused to meet Sinn Féin at the time on the grounds that the IRA was still active. Powell says: "They [the DUP] were no different from the British government at the time of John Major or Margaret Thatcher saying they never had contacts with the IRA - but actually [they were] doing so as well. It did play an important role in making possible that extraordinary meeting between Ian Paisley and Gerry Adams. They had never met, they had never spoken until they sat down for that photo-opportunity in March 2007. If you hadn't had that back channel building confidence over time, it would have been difficult."

There is growing speculation the Queen will make a visit to Stormont Monastery after participating in some sort of Babylonish religious get together at Armagh on March 20th. Meanwhile Peter Lundy has been attacking Jim Allister in a speech which is published on the Lundy website. Never mind the talk Peter, put your money where your mouth is and declare you will be seeking the Lundy nomination to stand in the Euro massacre.
This will give you the chance to personally politically obliterate those whom you see as obstacles to your aspirations. You can also see to it that the local council elections should go ahead as scheduled, somehow I do not think you will though.

There are growing signs a large number of Lundies have been stricken with the dreaded Dromorepsychosis. Some of the symptoms of this realtively new disorder are;

1. Hysteria, an classic example of this was displayed by Nigel Lundy on an early morning interview on Radio Ulster. "We will not be bullied by anyone," he hysterically cried.
The sufferer is usually someone who wants to forget they recently have been bullied. In Nigel`s case by the Jesuit threat of the dreaded "Plan B", also by Eileen and Doc.

2. Delusions of grandeur. A textbook illustration of the delusion can be seen in the demeanour and utterances of Nelson McLundy in the video clip. Both Nelson and Nigel are at serious risk as they know what happened in the Dromore by election will be repeated in a much larger way in any election in N.Belfast.

3. Great fear about the future. Leads the sufferer to go to great lengths in assuring everyone, he never agreed to the ST Andrews Deal and was in fact working to bring it down.
In the most extreme forms the sufferer will goes as far as to claim he or they have gained a great victory over their enemies. Doc, TumbleDown Dick, Willie McLundy and lately Gregory Lundy have exhibited symptoms of this extreme stage of illness.

4. Heightened anxiety about the loss of the sufferers material abundance.
This leads the sufferer to lie to every journalist he meets, in an urge to let the world know he is an important prime mover in the intended removing the leader. The sufferer feels in some strange way, he must get rid of the leader if he is to keep his present wealth and status.

Eventually if not treated this disorder will lead to paranoid behaviour, in which the sufferers will see each of his or her colleagues as a threat to themselves. The early stage of this dangerous element of the illness is a compulsion, willingness and where possible, the actual carrying out of an act of leadership removal.

There is no known human cure for this new illness. Those afflicted eventually decay to a state of mind where they can only repeat over and aver again the mantra, "But Doc told me there was no alternative."

A Statement on behalf Of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster issued by the Government and Morals Committee of the Church

"On behalf of the above Church we wish to express our absolute abhorrence and disgust at the unmitigated filth and blasphemy which is contained in the Christmas publication called "COMIC RELIEF".

We wish particularly to condemn in the strongest possible language the vile and hideous attempt to besmirch the Holy Name and Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. The references to the Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Miracles, His atoning death and resurrection are hellish mockery, the lowest form of blasphemy.

We wish also to underline our total resentment of the vile, explicit and obscene language used throughout the whole book. Furthermore we believe such a publication can only pollute the minds of its readers and encourage violence and immorality.

The Word of God says: "Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." (James 1:15).

In conclusion we find it inconceivable that such a corrupt publication should be circulated throughout the Nation, under the guise of helping to support charitable organisations such as Save the Children Fund and Oxfam who are the main benefactors of the proceeds from this publication.

As a Committee we call on Princess Anne, as President of Save the Children Fund and the leaders of Oxfam to disassociate themselves from this iniquitous publication.
We will be writing to Princess Anne on this matter. "
