Anatoly Karpov
Karpov's "boa constrictor" playing style is solidly positional, taking no risks but reacting mercilessly to any tiny errors made by his opponents.
I saw a comment on Slugger OToole website caustically describing Peter Pinnochio Punt as a "Cold Fish."
Many years ago I gave Peter a chess book about Anatoly Karpov. I think it was called "Anatoly Karpov`s best games." He must never have read it.
Karpov means "Cold Fish" in Russian.
